Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and sign-in method.
• Email context — when you open a thread with the extension, the sender address and the message text you ask us to summarize or reply to.
• Store data — customer, order, product and stock details read from the stores you connect (such as Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce).
• Usage data — lookups, drafts, coupons issued and basic technical logs used for billing, security and troubleshooting.
• Billing details — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use this information only to provide RepliZen: showing customer and order details next to an email, generating draft replies, issuing coupons you approve, enforcing plan limits, sending account and usage emails, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data or use your customers' data for advertising.

AI processing

To write drafts and summaries, the relevant email text and store details are sent to our AI providers. They process it on our behalf to return a response and are not permitted to use it to train their models.

Limited use of data

RepliZen's use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We read Gmail page content only to provide the feature you trigger. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or for purposes unrelated to RepliZen, and we do not allow people to read it except with your consent, to provide support you request, for security, or where the law requires.

Information stored on your device

The extension keeps your sign-in session, your settings and short-lived cached lookup results in Chrome's extension storage on your device. Signing out removes your session.

Error reports

If the extension crashes it may send a minimal report: the error message, a shortened technical trace, the extension version, and whether you were signed in. It never includes email text, customer data or your credentials.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run RepliZen (hosting, database, AI, email delivery and payments), with members of your own workspace according to their role, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We do not store the text of your emails or the drafts we generate in our database. To avoid repeating the same AI work, we keep a small amount of temporary working data for your workspace and then delete it automatically: a short AI-generated summary of a thread for up to 24 hours, a numeric representation of it (an embedding) for up to 7 days, and knowledge-base search results for about 15 minutes. Customer and order details are read from your connected store and may be cached briefly to speed up repeat requests. Our AI providers may keep the text we send them for a limited time to detect abuse, under their own terms.

Your account, notes, tags, reminders, templates, knowledge-base documents, and draft ratings and comments you submit are kept while your account is active. Signed-in users can download their data or delete the account from the Privacy & data page. Deletion removes the login. Billing, tax, and fraud records described on that page are kept. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing support@replizen.com from your account address.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role, and store credentials are stored encrypted.
